1. Grade 6 Application Re-Opened
The 6th grade application has been reopened. Families can apply to 6th grade at Boston Prep for SY24 starting now through July 17, 2023. If you know anyone entering grade 6th for SY24 APPLY HERE!
2. Memorial Day-No School
Boston Prep will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 30th. Have a safe long weekend!
3. Student Intent to Return Survey
We are collecting information from families to inform our rosters for next year 2023-2024. Please fill out this brief survey about whether or not your child is returning for next year.

5. Student MBTA/M7 Charlie card
Current MBTA/M7 Charlie cards for the SY22-23 school year will remain active until August 31st, 2023 as fare free. Students should hold onto their current cards throughout the summer and can continue to ride the MBTA system fare-free (they do not need to load money onto their Charlie Cards). This policy applies to all students in the city of Boston. If students happen to lose their card during the summer, they can request a new card using the google form.
New M7 MBTA Charlie cards for next school year will be passed out on the first day of school on Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023.
6. Family Town Hall
Join us on TONIGHT , May 17th from 6pm-7pm for our Family Town Hall led by our Middle and High School Principals. Topics to be discussed include, End of Year.
Registration is required to attend. Register here!
7. Family Committee Weekend
The Family Committee has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 24th from 6pm-7pm (in-person). We will be discussing fundraisers and more. Dress Down Day will be given to students whose family attends. Hope you can join us.
Registration is not required.
Light dinner will be served.
8. Grade 7 Field Trip: New England Aquarium
The permission slip must be returned by Tuesday, May 23, 2023. If it is not received by Tuesday, May 23, 2023, your child will not be allowed to attend the field trip.
9. High School End of Year Announcements
Class of 2023 end of year announcements: Congratulations! We are just a few weeks away from your student’s high school graduation. This is an exciting time to celebrate your child’s successes—of which there are many. As we get closer to the end of your student’s last year of high school there are a few items that we would like to share with you.
Please remember that all instructional materials (including textbooks, athletic uniforms and calculators) must be returned, and other outstanding school fees paid in full, by Monday, June 5th, and before graduation on June 9th.
Students who do not complete all academic and other requirements will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. Additional information regarding graduation requirements are below:
Senior (12th graders) Signing Day, May 22nd:
During our High School Community Meeting on May 22nd, we will be recognizing all of our seniors as they share their post-secondary plans. We invite all families to join our community to uplift our seniors and cheer them on for their hard work. Senior Signing Day will take place at 8am on Monday, May 22nd. Please aim to enter through the main entrance and report to the gym at 8am for the start of the event. Light pastries and coffee will be served for 12th grade families at the conclusion of Signing Day.
Junior (11th graders) Family Info Session, June 6th:
Our juniors have officially started the college and career process! While we have started meeting with juniors individually, we invite all families to join us on Tuesday, June 6th for our Junior Family Kickoff. The event will be from 5:30pm – 7:pm. Dinner will be provided. We ask for you to kindly RSVP using this link.
