Dear East High School Families,
During Winter Break (December 23rd-January 3rd), we will be eagerly awaiting any news regarding an additional waiver being submitted to the Department of Education. Please monitor this news through the DMPS site as well as district communication and building communication.
Semester 1 ends January 21st. That means students will be concluding their Term 2 courses at that time. We encourage students to to attend classes daily, complete assignments and assessments, and communicate with teachers regarding any questions they have. Let's finish strong, East High School!

PSAT Information
The PSAT/NMSQT is the only way that JUNIORS can qualify for the National Merit Scholarship and it is GREAT PRACTICE for the SAT and ACT!! We will be holding this exam on Tuesday, January 26th at 8:30AM-12PM. Juniors are given priority, but sophomores can also take the exam. There are limited seats available so be sure to sign-up by emailing Ms. Duimstra (ashlee.duimstra@dmschools.org) TODAY!!!

Exam is $20 for students without a textbook fee exemption and the charge will automatically be added once you sit for the exam on Jan. 26th.
