What is World Kindness Day?
World Kindness Day is an annual event that encourages individuals to practice kindness in their daily lives. It highlights the importance of empathy, understanding, and cooperation to create a more harmonious and caring world.
When is World Kindness Day 2023?
World Kindness Day is observed on November 13 each year. In 2023, it falls on a Monday, providing an opportunity for people to start their week with acts of kindness and goodwill.

❤Classes may participate in the following activities:
*Perform Acts of Kindness: Throughout the day, consciously perform acts of kindness, such as helping a neighbor, complimenting a colleague, or donating to a charity.
*Spread Positivity: Share uplifting and positive messages on social media to inspire others to be kind and compassionate.

Conferences are coming!
Family-Teacher Conferences will be held Monday, November 20 through Wednesday, November 22. Please look at ParentSquare to schedule your appointment.
This is a great time to establish relationship with your student's teacher and discuss progress. Talk with your student about academic concerns, look over assignments, and write down topics to prepare for the meeting. Once the conference is over, share the conversation with your student and make plans for a
successful year.

CHRISTMAS HOUSE
Christmas House provides holiday gifts for qualifying low income, Snohomish County families with children aged 18 years or younger.

Days/Time: November 30 - December 16 (closed on Sundays and Mondays). Tuesday-Friday: 9am to 2.30pm. Saturday: 9am to 2.30pm
Process for application
1: No pre-registration required.
2: Admission is by numbered ticket. Tickets will be passed out daily starting at 7am until 1 hr. before closing time. On the day you wish to shop, please go to the location, take a ticket, and return at the allotted time.
3: Print and fill Family Information Form and bring it with required documentation. Form will be available on site, or you can print here: shoppercard_oneup_fillable.pdf (christmas-house.org)
4: Shopper tickets include an estimated time the number will be called. Shoppers should return before their designated time and line up at the door. Note: wait times can be over an hour, so plan accordingly.
When numbers are called, only one person per family can enter Christmas House. All other family members wait outside in the vehicle. No children or infants are permitted inside Christmas House.

Completed Family Information form, current photo ID/passport, proof of spouse/significant other living in household, proof of current Snohomish County address, proof of children, birth dates and guardianship, proof of household income.
