Greeting Eastridge Families,
Next week is College GO Week in Warren Township! College Go Week is dedicated to helping students find the right college or career that fits their personality and interests by providing information and opportunities to explore and plan for education beyond high school. There is a recommended focus for activities at each grade level: Elementary level recommendations focus on college awareness and why college is important. Middle level recommendations focus on high school diplomas, college degrees and career goals. High school level recommendations focus on programs of study, finding the right school/program and the application process. Students and staff will be participating in College GO Week spirit days and discussing college and career opportunities throughout the week. We encourage families to talk about these experiences with their children this week at home.
Parent/Teacher Conference day is set for October 1st, 2019.
Teachers will be sending home confirmation of times for parent teacher conferences. If for some reason you should need to request a different time, please contact your child's teacher to reschedule. Our goal is always 100% participation for our P/T Conferences.

Attendance Matters, Facts Matters, Information Matters
Why attendance matters?
Fact: Missing just 2 days a month means a child misses 10% of the school year.
RESEARCH SHOWS THAT ATTENDANCE IS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT.
Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. Every school day counts in a child's academic life...A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn. The effects of lost school days build up one absence at a time on individual students. Please ensure that your child understands the importance of good school attendance and is at school every day. Every day matters! Every day provides important learning opportunities! Set your child up for success by developing these good habits now!
Attend today. Achieve tomorrow.
