Welcome to another great week! I hope each of you enjoyed meeting Col. Vargas this past week and learning more about the Medal of Honor character education program that we will utilize during our SSPs. During the District Professional Development this week, we will have an opportunity to hear from Superintendent Dr. Gaborik, the State Department of Education Commissioner of Education, Dr. Michael Johnson and motivational speaker Anthony Muhammad is also slated to make an appearance as well! After the morning session you will have an opportunity to personalize and purchase your lunch from one of the food trucks that will be onsite. The afternoon sessions will be held at West Valley High School for secondary teachers. Please refer to the email that was sent Friday for details relating to parking and pullout locations.

On Thursday, the Freshman Class of 2021 will make their grand appearance excited about their first day of high school. On Tuesday, Ms. Forsman will review staffing locations. On Friday, all students will be in attendance. As a reminder we will kick off the day with a Welcome Back Assembly in the auditorium.
