Bulldog-Leopard Mentoring Center will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday next week due to STAAR and benchmark testing.
Spring Family Social
On Wednesday, April 24 Lillard PTA is having our Spring Family Social from 5:30-7:30pm. This is a carnival type event for families so students must come with an adult. In-N-Out's mobile truck will be there so meals will be available for pre-order!
Information on purchasing tickets and meals will come from PTA soon. PTA is also selling t-shirts for the social. T-shirts are NOT required to be purchased or worn to the social. If you would like to purchase a t-shirt, the order form can be found HERE.

Bulldog-Leopard Mentoring Center
The Bulldog-Leopard Mentoring Center is still open!! Every Monday - Thursday from 7:15 am - 8:00 am. We have mentors that would love to help your child with any homework, project, test review, test corrections or review for their STAAR tests. Check with your child's teachers to get a pass.

Lillard Field Day
Good Afternoon Lillard Parents:
Get ready, Lillard Field Day is fast approaching. Our Field Day will be held on Wednesday, April 17th (5th Grade) and Thursday, April 18th (6th Grade). Here is your chance to order your Lillard Field Day T-Shirt!
T-Shirts are available for purchase online at the following link: https//www.spiritworx.com/ . Once you reach the Spirit Worx site, please click on the tab at the top of the page that says “SPIRIT STORES”. Then enter the Lillard store code number, which is #7313. Field Day Shirts are $11 each. Shirts in sizes XX-Large and larger are $2 more. Cash or check will also be accepted. Shirts MUST be ordered before April 4th. After this date there will be no more shirts available for printing.
The teams are assigned different shirt colors. Please order the correct color for your child’s academic team. Below are the colors by Team:
5th Grade PURPLE: TCU, UNT, and Yale
5th Grade SAPPHIRE: Baylor, OU, and SFA
6th Grade PURPLE: LSU and SMU
6th Grade SAPPHIRE: UTA, A&M, and Texas Tech

Middle School Swimming & Diving for Incoming Danny Jones 7th & 8th Graders
This is an all year competitive sport. Swimmers and divers practice Monday-Friday from 7:30 - 8:15 am. We do provide transportation back to campus after practice. Swimmers and divers must be placed in first period athletics.
Tryouts will be held on Thursday, April 25 or May 2 from 5:30 - 6:30 PM at the MISD Natatorium 1001 N Holland Rd Mansfield, TX 76063, for all incoming 7th and 8th grade girls and boys. You only have to attend one tryout date. You will need to bring a swimsuit, goggles, and towel. Swimmers must have an athletic physical on file or may bring a copy of their new athletic physical with them to the tryout.

Guidelines for Eating Lunch with Your Student
Please see below for a reminder of guidelines for eating lunch with your child:
All visitors to a campus for lunch must report to the school office, present a government issued photo ID, and sign-in according to campus procedures. Any visitor who wishes to eat lunch with a student at a MISD school will need to meet the following criteria:
a) The person must be listed on the students Skyward account in either the “Family” tab or the “Emergency” tab and
b) The person must be at least 21 years old, unless accompanied by adult (21 years and older) listed in Skyward in either the “Family” tab or the “Emergency” tab,
or c) Receive prior approval from campus administration (24 hours in advance is requested)
In addition, a parent cannot provide food for another student or sit with another student unless the parent is on either the “family” tab or the “emergency” tab of the student in Skyward.
Lillard Volunteer Application
We are so appreciative of our parents, community members, and business companions who volunteer at our school. In order to volunteer in any capacity, including field trips, working in the copy room, or helping in a classroom, a background check must be completed. Please go to the link below to begin the volunteer application process.
- You only have to complete ONE application for the entire district, even if you will be volunteering at multiple schools
- You must reapply ever year, even if you completed the background check previously
