I cannot believe we are so close to the end of the quarter. Conferences are right around the corner (October 16 & 18) and the students are excited about sharing their progress.
With that being said... I have been working hard to make sure that students are on their best behavior when I have a substitute. I have had meetings and trainings this last week and it seems as though when the cat's out the mice are playing. Work from reading workshop was left unfinished, furniture and technology was misused. I am out this week (but in the building) for two partial days and I would love it if you could remind your kiddo about respecting all adults. We have had some challenges each time Mrs. Waggoner has been gone. I appreciate your attention to this matter and thank you for your support.
I am still in need of 2-liter pop bottles. If you could send those in before NEOEA day I would appreciate it. Remember that they must be washed and clear. I appreciate all of your help!
This week we have a dinosaur afterschool program, "Dinosaurs Live" on Wednesday, October 10th. The morning of the 10th is also National Walk to School Day. We will be meeting in the UH parking lot and walking to school. Parents are welcome to join us only if they've been fingerprinted. Please let me know if you would like to join us and I will check with the office to make sure they have your prints!
All homework is due on Thursday this week! :)
