Many thanks to Pico PAC parents for helping pass out PE orders this week!
Drop Off and Pick Up
As you can see, there is a lot of traffic on Valencia Blvd. during drop off and pick up! Student safety is our number one priority. To help with a safe and efficient valet line, please pull all the way towards the stop sign before stopping. The parking lot is only for people who need to park and get out of their car for school business. It is not safe for students to cross from the parking lot.

Jersey Mike's Grand Open to support Hart District Special Ed.
Jersey Mike's is opening their 7th location on AUGUST 31! They are opening in the Skyline Ranch plaza in Saugus off of Plum Canyon. As always their grand opening proceeds will be going to a local charity! For this grand opening they chose to partner with WiSH (the Hart District's Education Foundation) and focus on the Special Ed department. Please consider supporting Jersey Mike's at their grand opening!
Dress code
Student were reminded of our district's dress code at our PBIS launch. Here is section II of the dresscode:
a) Students must wear clothing including both a shirt with pants or skirt, or the equivalent (for example dresses, leggings, or shorts) and shoes. Strapless garments are not permitted
b) Shirts and dresses must have fabric to cover the front, the back, and the sides.
c) Clothing must cover undergarments (waistbands and straps excluded). Undergarments, alone, cannot be worn in place of a shirt or top.
d) Fabric must fully cover breasts, genitals and buttocks and must be solid/opaque
B and D are the issues we have been addressing with students this week with low cut tops and abdomens showing. Please go over the district dresscode with your student. We appreciate your support.
