Happy Friday Slater Nation!

Thank you to all who joined our High School Open House on Thursday evening. If you were unable to join and would like to meet your child's teachers, please contact them through their school email.

We will be holding picture retakes on October 12th. If you have questions, please contact Jackie Phillips (jphillips@svuvt.org).

Today will be the first of several extra-curricular eligibility determinations. Approximately every 4-5 weeks we look at all students' grades to determine if they are eligible to fully participate in extra-curricular activities. We use this as a means to support student academics while also keeping students engaged as much as possible.

Please take a moment to look over the Slater Strong potluck invitation below. The focus of the group is to open community conversations that support the diverse cultural backgrounds of all our students.

The freshman class is running a "Class of 2027 Fundraiser." They will be selling T-shirts, sweatshirts, and other apparel for the class of 2027. All orders are due by Oct. 2.

The FHU Counselor team would like to invite Senior families to join us on October 18th for our Senior Workshop. The counselors will be reviewing scholarships, FAFSA, college applications, and much, much more.

FHUMHS will hold evening conferences on November 8th, and afternoon conferences on November 9th. Sign-up information will be shared in October. While we love in-person conferences, we are happy to accommodate virtual meetings as well!
