Dear AESD Families,

The following update is provided to keep you informed regarding the Anaheim Elementary School District:

Memorial Day Holiday - No School on Monday, May 29

As we approach Memorial Day, we thank you for the opportunity to serve and support your children within our school district. We hope this weekend brings you the opportunity to spend quality time with your family and appreciate the sacrifices of those who have served in our armed forces.

ELO-P: Anaheim Succeeds! Soccer Championship Game

Join us next Wednesday (May 31, 2023) to see Jefferson Elementary and Olive Street Elementary playing in the championship soccer game at Glover Stadium, 1125 N. La Palma Pkwy, Anaheim, 92801. All school sites who participated in this year’s Anaheim Elementary Soccer Club will be recognized and will participate in an Awards Ceremony. It will be a great way to celebrate the students' skill building and teamwork throughout the season. All Anaheim Elementary School District families are invited to attend. Expanded Learning Opportunities Program: Summer Opportunities

Anaheim Elementary School District will offer the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program in June and July.

Our summer academic program hours will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This summer program will run from June 12 through June 30 at all in-person campuses. The Anaheim YMCA will provide daily extended hours for interested families from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Additionally, in July, the YMCA will also offer a Summer Camp at five school sites (Franklin, Lincoln, Stoddard, Sunkist and Westmont). The program will be open daily for six hours; from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Parent Engagement Opportunities

Linked is the June Parent Engagement Calendar where you have access to the Fresno State Collaborative courses throughout the summer. Reminder that parents who complete 6 class sessions will receive a certificate from Fresno State University.
