Principal Appreciation Month
October is Principal Appreciation Month and the students and staff celebrated with Mr. Chris Bilyeu, Principal at Wilson 6th Grade Center. The staff held a Nacho themed luncheon that followed along with the signs from the students "Na-cho Average Principal"!
"I didn't realize Principal's Month was a thing! However, It doesn't surprise me that our staff and students are looking under rocks to find reasons to celebrate others. Our Wilson Family is incredible, and I'm grateful to be a part of it! A big thanks to everyone for the kind words and all of the effort to make it special!" - Mr. Chris Bilyeu

Available Resources
As students transition to the 6th Grade Center, we would like to inform our parents of some additional resources that may be helpful throughout the school year.
- The Indian Education program provides free tutoring for all Collinsville students. Our students can ride a bus to Collinsville Middle School on Tuesdays and Thursdays and meet with tutors in the middle school library. The tutoring is from 3:30-4:30 and parents will need to arrange pick up for their student at 4:30, no school transportation is provided for getting students home after tutoring. More information can be obtained by calling 918-371-5779. This service will begin on September 5, 2023.
- We are very excited that students will be able to obtain additional Math support in our Math Lab this year! The lab is open each day during school hours. Students can receive additional support for a particular math lesson, work on basic math skills, or be able to make up math work from being absent. Ms. Julie Struble will be working with the students and will create a schedule for the students to be able to visit her during one of their elective hours. Please call the school office, 918-371-3144, if you have any questions about this resource.
