CTS Snapshot

Welcome to our CTS Snapshot - a weekly celebration update. We are delighted to share with parents and carers alike student triumphs at Corby Technical School. We are proud of every student and every success they have - please feel free to share with us any achievements they might have.

Students receive lesson stars where a teacher feels a student has made an excellent contribution in their lesson. Some students receive multiple lesson stars across the week, below are the students who have received the most stars for each year group this week:

Our Winter Showcase took place this week showcasing our very talented students. There were performances by our Choir, a musical theatre performance, Ukelele club, Highland dancing from Willow (Year 11) and Marian (Year 10) performed songs on his clarinet, and dance performances from Year 10 students. The evening was a great success with parents and carers joining the students and staff to sing Twelve Days of Christmas. Thank you to all parents and carers that attended and supported the students.

Well done to all our performers from Year 7, 8, 9,10 and 11, you were amazing!

Staff and students also had the opportunity to see these performances during the mini showcases on Tuesday and Wednesday.

An assembly was held this week and the following students were recognised:

• School reopens to students on Tuesday 10th January. A small group of Year 11 students have an external exam on Monday 9th January, if your child is sitting this exam you must ensure they are in school.
