BCA Kickoff Cookout

The BCA Kickoff Cookout was a huge success! Over 175 students showed up for the event, and they had a blast with our get-to-know-you scavenger hunt.

These students brought in two triple stacked carts worth of non-perishable food items, which were donated just in time to give to the Atlas Program. Shortly after the event, we found out that the previous food pantry that supplied Atlas food items could no longer be the provider. Needless to say, Atlas would have not been able to provide food for students in need without the generosity of the BCA students.

Thanks to all who participated and brought donations!!

College Planning Night

Junior and senior students and parents are invited to attend. We will have sessions on the FAFSA/HOPE/TN Promise, scholarships, the ACT, the college admissions process, and NCAA. You will also have a chance to meet with many different college admission reps.

Sept. 15th: Senior BCA Day at MTSU

Oct. 27th: Freshmen BCA Day at MTSU

Feb. 2nd: Sophomore BCA Day at MTSU

March 9th: Junior BCA Day at MTSU

*Each field trip will be from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Attention juniors and seniors: We will have a junior team building / senior celebration field trip in May. Details to come. You won't want to miss this!!

BCA Courses

Freshmen: Honors English I, Honors Biology, and Honors World History or AP Human Geography (must be enrolled in at least 2)

Sophomores: Honors English II, Honors Algebra II or Advanced Honors Geometry, and Honors Chemistry (must be enrolled in at least 2)

Juniors: AP English III, AP U.S. History or Dual Enrollment U.S. History, and Speech or Critical Thinking (highly recommended junior year before capstone)

Seniors: Speech or Critical Thinking (if not already taken) and Capstone

Attendance Matters!

It is back-to-school time in Tennessee, and we want to take a moment to remind you that attendance matters for every child in every grade, from pre-Kindergarten through high school.
