Welcome Back!

Well it was a while ride as we wrapped up the school year! Now we are preparing for the 2020-2021 school year. Although we ended uniquely, our staff has planned for our best year ever with targeted focus on academics and innovative curriculum in the arts. So read updates below and get ready for a great school year!

Technology Device Agreement

Tyler ISD will lend District Chromebooks to students to use for educational purposes, with priority to those enrolled in Learn@Home who do not have access to a device. Students may use their own devices as long as they have video and audio capabilities.

In order for students to receive Chromebooks, parents MUST submit a Technology Device Agreement for each student. The Technology Device Agreement is located in the Parent Self Serve Portal (www.tylerisd.org/parents). Chromebooks will NOT be issued to students who do NOT have a completed Technology Device Agreement on file.

Campuses will communicate their specific Chromebook pick up schedules to their families. More information for Chromebook distribution to In-School Learning students will be communicated soon.

Middle School Schedule Email from the Counselor

I hope this email finds you and your family well! I know there is a lot of information we are all sorting through right now.

I wanted to email you in case you have not received communication on scheduling that middle school schedules are now available through Parent Self Serve (PSS) or Student Self Serve (SSS). Parent Self Serve account passwords were recently reset to be the student ID of your oldest enrolled student. (If you have problems signing on to PSS you can request help at: https://apps.tylerisd.org/parenthelp. This is the same place where you check your child’s grades, etc.)

Once you locate your schedule, please go to my Counselor Corner https://www.tylerisd.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=8917 to access a course crosswalk that lets you see what electives your child is in. Focus on the SECTION number to help guide you-
