Announcements & Updates

- To provide our students with a true break and an opportunity to spend time with family, decompress, and focus on wellness, access to district Google Drive accounts, including email, will be suspended for students. Drive access will be turned off after dismissal on the 23rd and will be reinstated upon their return to school on Monday, January 3. During this time, parents are reminded to please monitor their child's technology use, including social media.


- Per Board of Education policy 2430, students must maintain passing grades (minimum 63%) in all classes to participate in Interscholastic Sports. Grades will be checked on December 23, the midpoint of the winter season, and those students who do not meet the criteria will be ineligible to participate in athletics until their academic performance improves.


- Mountain View will welcome Mr. Liam Mejia, who will teach 7th grade English Language Arts, on Monday (the Board of Education will take formal action on Tuesday, 12/21).

Happy Friday Mountain View! Winter break is quickly approaching, and is a great time to relax, reset, spend time with friends and family and practice self care! Check out the new bulletin board for tips to ensure we “Don't ‘Flake’ on Self Care” this winter. Try one of my favorite self care activities this weekend or over winter break: go for a walk, watch your favorite holiday movie/show, take a break from social media, play a board game, bake your favorite treat, drink hot chocolate, spend time with your family or read a book (or all of the above!). Have a great weekend Lions!
