Rock to Rock Bike Ride: Saturday, April 28
Support Common Ground and ride in a bike parade!
Police will be supporting this ride. We will ride together at a leisurely pace. This is definitely not a race! It is a 5 mile ride with floats, music, friends, and fun! Longer, alternate routes are available for adults who want a cycling challenge.
If you are looking for fun way to support Common Ground, consider joining Common Ground's Rock to Rock team when you register! This is a fundraising team, and if you join it, your registration fees and any additional funds you raise will be given to Common Ground.

Saturday May 12th
Purchase strong, healthy vegetable and herb starts for your community, school, or backyard garden. Seedlings are grown at Common Ground using sustainable farming practices.
At the Farm Festival, celebrate community and the beginning of a new growing season. Festivities include music, food, face-painting, and sheep shearing!
Time: 10:00- 2:00pm
Suggested donation: $5 per person; $10 per family.

You make our garden flourish! Meet awesome people and green up your thumb by volunteering on our sustainably managed market garden!
Spring farm work can include: preparing beds, transplanting, and working in the greenhouses. Get your wheelbarrowing on and join the fun...
Meet at the Harvest Pavilion at the lower garden. Drop in anytime Saturdays between 10am-1pm and stay for as little or as much as you would like. If you are under 18 years old you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian please. Contact the farmers at FARM@commongroundct.org with questions about volunteering on the farm.

It’s time to get your farming and gardening gears into action! Common Ground’s Spring Farm and Garden Institute is a full or half day experience with multiple workshops for new and advanced garden enthusiasts alike.
All Our Kin, a local non-profit that supports and sustains community child care providers and will be providing Spanish translation services for some of the workshops!*

Nature School Conference
WHEN: MAY 5TH 8:30-5PM
Discover ways that nature-based learning enhances skill development during a hands-on day of training! Presenters share insights and activities based on their work in nature preschools, forest kindergartens, or other nature-based programs. Training is ideal for educators working with children ages 3-7 years old. Also includes a tour of Common Ground's nature-based school program. Light breakfast and lunch are included, but bring your canteen for drinks. You can indicate dietary restrictions when you register. Professional development certificate provided at the conclusion of the event. Please dress for the weather, as at least 50% of this event will take place outdoors.

Common Ground offers birthday parties for all ages. Programs can also be scheduled for Scouts or other groups.
