We are blessed to have our Bishop, Dr. John L. Godbolt, Elect Lady Vertell Godbolt, Sr. Pastor Ron Godbolt, and 1st Lady Faye Godbolt leading us through the Christian journey!

Senior Pastor Dr. Ron Godbolt preached a powerful word entitled, "Jesus, The Palm!"

• Recognize the purpose of all scripture.
• Understand the connection between Jesus and Palm Trees.
• Celebrate Palm Sunday.

His reference scriptures were John 12:12-16, II Timothy 3:16, and Psalm 92:12.

Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Lord’s great power toward us who believe – Your tremendous, invincible power that works in us … the same almighty strength you used when you raised Jesus from the dead and seated him far above all other powers, visible and invisible. Nothing is impossible with you. Thank you that when I praise you and bring my requests to you in faith, I plug into your almighty power… that when I offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving, I open a door for you to rescue me and bless my life and I prepare the way for you to rescue and bless other people near and far. Thank you that our influence and our victory are not by human might or power, but by your Spirit. Psalm 50:23 He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors me….

Anthony and Altavise Mayo welcomed their son, Justin on March 23rd. He weighed in at 6lbs 12oz and was 21 inches long. The Mayos want to thank everyone for their love and prayers.

Thanks to all who sent their youth and young adults to our L1FE meeting last Sunday. We had a great time with food, fellowship, and learning about facing the giant of comfort.

Langston racked up in awards yesterday! A/B Honor Roll and Highest GPA in Math, ELA & Chinese Awards. He was also awarded a special award…Langston was one of two kids who got the Highest Plays Award for overall Respectful, Resilient & Responsible attitude! A shot with Principal Gemette McEachern. She says that she wishes she had more like him! God is good and His favor is untouchable!
