A Message From the Athletic Director

I hope everyone had a very restful spring break and is ready to finish the 2022-2023 school year strong. It is unbelievable to me the spring season is here and all teams are ready to compete already. I am very hopeful the weather will turn soon and it will be a beautiful spring season for our athletes. Regardless of sunshine, rain, or snow, we will do our best in the athletic department to get in as many games as possible for our kids!


This edition features a quick wrap up of a few of our winter sports that had a good run in the MHSAA tournament along with information/schedules for our upcoming spring season, which can also be found on our athletic website. The schedules that are posted will always be the most up to date schedules, so please continue to visit the website to see any changes with cancelations or rescheduled contest. Good luck to all of our athletes and their coaches. Go Eagles!

Wrestling Individual State Finals

Congratulations to our four individual wrestlers who qualified for the individual state finals at Ford Field. Michael Bush, Adoniah Delgado, Jase Grundy, and Bryce Shingleton. Delgado, Grundy, and Shingleton earned all-state honors highlighted by a runner-up finish by Senior Bryce Shingleton. Congratulations!

Gymnastics State Finals

A message from Head Coach, Nancy Holden - "Five LFLF gymnast competed at the state finals tournament. On vault we had Molly Dixon and Keira Sandler receive their highest scores of the season. Molly with a 9.0 placing her 13th in the D2 category and Keira with 8.95 for a 18th place in D1. We also had Keira on beam with a 8.3 placing 23rd in D1. On floor Sophia Markley scored a 8.75 for a 24th place finish in D2, and Keira Sadler’s 8.95 placed her 23rd in the D1. On bars Alida Smith received a 7.6 for D2 and Natasha Dudin 7.675 also D2. Keira Sadler’s 8.85 was good enough to put her in the top 10. Giving her All State honors on bars for D1. The girls did great representing their schools and their sport of gymnastics."

Ski State Finals

The Boys Varsity Ski Team took 1st place at Regionals and 6th overall at States. Both of Linden's skiers did great at both events. Jack Antonishek and Spencer Dicks represented Linden well and skied fantastic!
