Message from the CAMP Team
Happy Summer CAMPers,
We hope that your summer is going well and that you are staying cool, safe, and healthy. Our team has been busy closing out this grant year and preparing for fall start up. This fall there will be some changes to CAMP events, and campus life in general, and we are working through all the details. Despite the changes, we are looking forward to seeing you all (even though it may be at a distance). We all miss seeing everyone around our beautiful campus and at the office!
Earlier this month we heard some great news; we are happy to announce that UI CAMP has been funded for another 5 years! The CAMP staff is excited to share the news with you and are honored to continue serving more scholars at the University of Idaho.
Below are events and opportunities we encourage you all to attend and engage in.
And as always, Echenle Ganas!
Welcome back Nancy!
We're still Accepting Applications!
Do you know of any incoming students that could be a part of our UI CAMP familia?
We invite you to participate in Voices/Voces
CAMP students you are all invited to the Voices/Voces event, Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at 5pm PDT, 6 pm MDT.
Voices is a space for multicultural students to talk about their experiences in a courageous space.
Tomorrow's conversation/discussion will be centered on Black Lives Matter and on how our diverse communities can dismantle systems of oppression.
Student Support Services (SSS) TRiO is accepting applications
The University of Idaho Student Support Services – TRIO program provides individual academic and personal support to eligible undergraduate students to help them succeed at the University of Idaho and beyond.
Become a Student Support Services (SSS) TRiO Mentor
SSS-TRIO Mentors foster supportive relationships with their mentees by providing guidance, advice and encouragement. Our mentors assist new students with their transition to the University of Idaho by connecting them to campus and community resources. Being an SSS-TRIO Mentor is a valuable, meaningful experience for upper-division students because it builds leadership skills, networking skills, and team building.
