Homecoming 2021!
TMS-THS Families,
We are excited to bring back many of the Homecoming festivities that were missed last year. Homecoming events will be taking place from September 27 - October 2. Our goal when designing these experiences is to enhance engagement within the three communities of Claremont, Dodge Center, and West Concord, while at the same time having many activities that would create lifelong memories for our students and parents! We understand that many questions accompany these events. Please do not hesitate to contact the THS office with questions.
Many people worked collaboratively to make this experience possible. A special thank you to the staff members and community members listed below.

HOMECOMING - SEPTEMBER 27 - OCTOBER 2
Principal's Update
As we head into Homecoming I wanted to address the issues taking place worldwide on social media. Many of you may have heard of the Devious Licks TikTok challenges that were taking place around schools to start the school year. This nationwide trend was highlighted by videos and pictures of students stealing items or defacing school property such as soap dispensers, exit signs, remote controls, toilets, urinals, and paper towel dispensers, etc...
I am pleased to report that although we were not perfect in avoiding this social media trend, the impact was very minimal. This TikTok trend seems to be coming to an end, but we can learn from this and it can serve as a great reminder for all of us as we head into Homecoming. It is important to have conversations about treating other people's property with respect and courtesy. What may seem like a harmless act to some or "kids just having some fun" can also be considered trespassing and vandalism by others. We want to offer as many engaging activities as possible throughout the year and damage to school property or "pranks" can definitely impact our ability to host and offer experiences.
We will continue to be in support of school spirit and making sure our students have memorable experiences. But we will not tolerate or participate in trends or acts for popularity that are destructive. We have so many things to be proud of, we have awesome students, great teachers, and supportive parents. Let's continue to work together and "go viral" for doing something good.
Thank you for your continued support! I hope homecoming is enjoyable for your children, family, and the Triton community. Together #WeAreTriton
