REPORT CARDS

Standards Based Grading

Standards-based grading is different than traditional grading. SBG focuses on specific learning objectives within a subject. Students receive a score of 1-4 depending on their progress toward mastery of a specific skill. With standards-based grading, teaching is responsive to learning.

Storybook pumpkins

Our classes had SO much fun working on their classroom pumpkins! Each class chose their favorite book and decorated their pumpkin based on the book and created a backdrop to represent the setting of the story!

iReady- Shoot for the STARS challenge!

Steele Students are "shooting for the stars." K-4th grade students are challenging themselves to pass as many iReady lessons as they can this month. Students earn stars to add to our rocketship when they meet their lesson goal!
