Cast's Crew Skyping

In February, Mrs. Cast's class learned about Biblionasium from students in Iowa. It is a way for students to keep up with their reading, similar to Goodreads. It might be a good thing to introduce to students before summer!

As you prepare students for the STAAR test, please let me know how I can support you in the library. If there is a concept that you would like for me to reinforce during library time, send me an email and I will work it in!


We will be working with Poetry during the next two weeks, but I can easily change to whatever skill or concept you would like for me to do.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is a tool for digital curating. I honestly had no idea what that meant until I participated in a twitter chat last week. Basically, it is a way to pull together resources. Most of us do this without knowing the fancy term. Pinterest is a digital curating site! So is Livebinders. I have transformed our library home page using a Symbaloo webmix. You can see it here. I would be happy to help you create one for your class or grade level!


More About Smore

Smore is an easy to use flyer creator that can be used for your class newsletter. There are templates that you fill in to personalize for your classroom. Newsletters can be embedded or shared through social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc. After you have created one, you can duplicate and edit to change it weekly. Let me know if you would like help creating one!
