Month "LEE" Scoop

It's hard to believe our school year is winding down. We want to thank you all for the positive support and patience you have shown to us in the last nine months. We have had many successes and some challenges. Through it all, we have remained a team and shared the same focus- student growth.

We have accomplished so much this school year. We would like to thank our hard working and caring faculty and staff who have made a huge difference to our students. Their commitment is outstanding and our kids receive the benefits. We want to thank Lee PTO who, as usual, went above and beyond the call of duty to provide whatever was necessary to add to our students’ already rich school experience. We want to thank our district administrators for always keeping students at the center of all decisions.

A final word to our students: Thank you for all your hard work throughout the school year. We are honored to be your principals; you make us proud. We are grateful for your joy, creativeness and amazing talents. Best wishes to our fourth and fifth graders, whom we will miss greatly—please come back and visit. Enjoy intermediate school!

Parents and guardians are invited to campus once a month to eat lunch with their child(ren) outside. Lunch times are listed below. You may bring food for your child or they can get a tray from the cafeteria. Please arrive early so that you have plenty of time to get settled in before your child's lunch time. See details below for updated procedures. We are looking forward to seeing you!

RETURNING Student Registration

Each month, we will focus on a specific character trait. Mrs. Hogan provides daily announcements and guidance lessons regarding that trait to help the students put it in action. The trait for the month of May is Perseverance. The parent newsletter is also attached.

Our current 4th and 5th Graders will be attending Caddo Mills Intermediate School next year. The Intermediate School will serve 5th & 6th Grade students. We are excited for this new opportunity at CMISD.

• School starts at 8:00 A.M. and ends at 3:30 P.M.
• Tardy bell rings @ 8:00 A.M.

Children not in the building by the 8:00 A.M. bell are considered tardy. Please refer to our student handbook regarding our tardy policy. If your child is tardy, please do not drop your child off. For their safety, your child should be signed in at the office.

• If your child is absent, please send a note to the office by 3:30 P.M. on the day that they return.

• Please bring tennis shoes everyday for P.E.
