Senior Boards – These are blank white foam boards that you can decorate to
celebrate your senior. We have a board with your Senior’s name on it and
instructions, 100% free of charge. If you haven’t picked yours up already, yours is
located in the choir directors’ office waiting for you. If you’d like Dionni Stone to
decorate your senior’s board for you, email Dionni at dionnistone@byu.net and send
$20 cash to the choir safe. Complete boards are due May 5th in the choir room.
Senior Pinning Ceremony – From 5:30-6:00 p.m. at The KISD Agricultural Center,
just before the choir banquet begins, every senior will receive a free pin in the shape
of the choir logo, to be worn on their graduation gown during the graduation
ceremony. The choir directors will say a few words to the parents and seniors, the
parent will place the pin on their senior and say a few words privately to the student,
the student will pass along their choir binder to the parents.
“RETIRE THE BINDER” Senior Choir Binders – After UIL and before May 13th, every
senior will need to decorate or somehow prepare their old choir binder to be given
to your parent at banquet. You can duct tape it and write a sweet note for the
inside. Fill it with pictures or just leave it alone. Completely up to you and your own
creativity. It’s an opportunity for you to rent(s) for supporting you throughout high
school and in choir in particular.
