Student Reminders
- Yearbooks: A reminder to pick up your yearbook, the Monocle during our scheduled summer office hours if you purchased one in advance and did not pick it up during the distribution days.
- Freshman Letters for Graduating Seniors: Class of 2021 graduates who had freshman phy-ed at Chi-Hi wrote letters to themselves with the understanding they would be returned to them when they graduate. The letters were available for pick-up at the Senior Grad Party, although several students did not stop and pick theirs up and several did not attend the party. Feel free to call the high school office to confirm whether or not we have a letter for you to pick up. We're happy to mail the letter to you as well.
- Class of 2021 Cinch Sacks: Several Class of 2021 cinch sacks with their contents were returned to the high school following the grad party. The sacks do have student names on them. These too can be picked up during our scheduled summer office hours.
Class of 2021 Google Docs/Gmail Accounts: A reminder to the seniors who graduated that the Google Docs/Gmail account that the Chippewa Falls School District provided to you during your time as a student within the district will be deleted on Monday, January 3, 2022. Once the account is deleted, any of the data within the account (files, emails, etc.) will not be recoverable. If you wish to save / archive items from within your Google Docs/Gmail account, you can utilize a Google utility called Google Takeout. The following link contains instructions on how to transfer data from your district account to a personal Google account: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6386856. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact the Chippewa Falls School District Technology Help Desk by sending an email to helpdesk@chipfalls.org or calling the help desk at 715-726-2413.

A staff member will be contacting families to set up appointments during the first week of August.
For More Information: An online newsletter will be sent out to families in late July with detailed registration information. Questions regarding registration can also be directed to Danielle Hatfield at hatfiedn@chipfalls.org.
FBLA Cancer Basket Project
On Thursday, May 27, the members of the Chippewa Falls High School FBLA chapter delivered 100 baskets filled with items to help patients going through cancer treatment to the Marshfield Cancer Center in Eau Claire. Being able to provide assistance and comfort to people in our area is rewarding and the students really enjoy this project.
This is the second year that senior Serena Tatu has led the chapter's cancer basket project. Members of the chapter put together ribbons bringing awareness about the different types of cancer and collect donations for the ribbons during school and at other events. This year, Serena had to think of new ways to collect donations for the project and reached out to the community. The community was very receptive and we had many businesses and individuals donate to support the cause. At the end of the project, $3000 was collected and utilized to put together care baskets for the patients.
Students reached out to Marshfield Cancer Center and developed a list of items that would be helpful and useful for individuals currently going through treatment. Some of the items included blankets, journals, hard candy, water bottles, and lotion. Once the lists were developed, the students went shopping for supplies and assembled the baskets with the items that were purchased and donated.
At the end of the project, the members had assembled 100 baskets for the individuals in treatment at the center. The students enjoy this project and that they are able to support others and help them out. Marleana LeMay, the FBLA adviser stated, “I am so proud of what they accomplished and that they want to give back to our community.” Serena did a great job organizing and executing this project successfully, as the chapter more than doubled what they were able to do last year.
Chi-Hi Musical Needs Your Help!
This year, the Chi-Hi musical celebrated its 50th Anniversary! This tradition has seen countless alumni go on to represent our school on stages all over the country - from places like nearby Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, all the way to NYC and Germany - our Cardinals have shared their singing and acting talents with the world. For 2022, we are planning to celebrate our 50th with the very first musical Chi-Hi ever presented: My Fair Lady!
Did you know that in our current structure, the ticket sales from one year’s production are what make up the entire budget for doing the musical the next year? Doing a full stage musical can be very expensive. Performance rights for the three shows and script rentals alone can cost just under $5000!
You can help the musical to grow and continue this valuable tradition into the future. Below are some things that you may have around your home (or find at summer garage sales) to donate to the musical:
