Tech Tuesday: Q & A Day
In the media center Tuesday, October 7th at 8:00am
Review Day!
The technology available to us has so much to offer but can be overwhelming. Sometimes we love new ideas but just aren't ready to dive in. This week, rather than another new topic, I will instead just be available in the media center for any questions or to help get you started with any of the three topics I shared in September.
Here is a brief review:
Digital Notebooks
The first topic I shared was Using Digital Notebooks in the Classroom. I have two Google Doc examples that students could use. Teachers can use either a Google Doc or Evernote Web for keeping conferring notes. If this interests you, come on down with your questions and we can make an appointment to get you started!

Evernote for Conferring
Chrome Web Store
I also shared how to add apps and extensions through the Chrome Web store. There are so many apps and extensions that are useful to the teacher and the student. I've attached a document with some of my favorites. Feel free to ask about any of them and how they can help you.

Symbaloo
Last week, I shared briefly how Symbaloo can be of use to you in the classroom. Teachers can create webmixes for general use or for specific units of study in any subject area. Those webmixes can be shared and bookmarked by students. Here again is the link to the Symbaloo I created with some of the links from the first fifth grade ss unit.
