Happy Friday Wildcats!

As the month of October comes to a close, there are a multitude of activities, information and chances to engage at Richmond Hill High School! Be sure to check out the exam exemption guidelines, opportunity to purchase a yearbook, donation opportunities, Probe Fair and much, much more!

Speaking of engagement, did you know that students that are actively engaged in extracurricular activities (clubs, sports, Fine Arts Groups, etc.) tend to have better grades, better attendance and better conduct at school than those not engaged? While the pandemic induced shut down created disconnection and fewer opportunities to connect, I want you to urge your child to engage in a multitude of various opportunities we have for our students outside of the regular school day. Not only does it improve the aforementioned areas but also allows them to meet new people, engage with a social group and overall improve their connectivity with Richmond Hill High School. Our staff is very much invested in making a range of club/fine art/athletic opportunities available, check out the list here and engage today!

PROBE is a college fair opportunity held throughout the state of Georgia. It’s mission is to disseminate information and stimulate interest in post-secondary education.

The Haunted Trail's final evenings are Friday, October 29th, and Saturday, October 30th, from 8pm until 10:30pm. Tickets are 20 dollars and should be purchased on site at 17 South. Please, support your RHHS Drama Club and come out to this community event!

The CURE Club will be collecting items for Boredom Buster Bags for teenage cancer patients undergoing treatment. The drive will take place from October 18-November 8 and items may be dropped off to the donation box in the East Office entrance. Thank you for your support!

RHHS Basketball is hosting its 1st Basketball Skills Mini Camp! This year's skills camp will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 1pm-4pm at Richmond Hill High School East Gym (1 Wildcat Drive).

All applications and payment must be received by Monday, November 1, 2021. The Basketball Skills Mini Camp cost is $25 per child and $20 for each additional family member if registration and payment is completed before Monday, November 1, 2021. Registration after November 1, 2021 will be considered late, and the price will be $30 per child and $25 for each additional family member.

• Attendance: As it relates to attendance and expectations regarding the check out process, please exercise the following should your child need to leave early: send in a signed note and have your student drop it by the attendance office in the morning. Phone calls, emails and faxes are not accepted. Please be sure to include a good contact number for verification. Once verified, the student will be given a class dismissal note, and sign themselves out.

Richmond Hill High School and Richmond Hill Athletics are excited to announce the use of Go Fan for our sporting events. Go Fan allows all event spectators to purchase tickets prior to events, or at the gate through your mobile device, avoid long lines, and limit person to person contact. All students parking on campus, including dual enrolled students must have a parking permit. Parking permits should be displayed by the first day of school, August 3, 2021.
