Wednesday: High Five Day! Students can high five all staff members throughout the day.

Bring a $5 gift card to your classroom teacher, specials teacher, title teacher, and/or special education teacher.

Thursday: Falcon Favorites Day! Students should wear their teacher's favorite color.

Bring in something from the teacher favorites list for your classroom teacher, specials teacher, title teacher, and special education teacher.

Friday: Rise and Shine for Field Day!

Breakfast for staff provided by Home & School.

MAP Testing Dates

*Headphones needed. If you have a mouse at home you don't mind sending if your child indicates a need, feel free to do so. We have a few for students to check out, but we are limited in number to cover every student.

*If you can, we would greatly appreciate you not making any appointments during this time. Students will have to make up testing if absent from school during testing even if it is during summer hours.

*We will provide breakfast on Monday morning for every student and snacks each day. Please be sure to send a water bottle with your child.

Field Day Sign Ups!

We are very excited to host our annual Field Day event this year! We would like to ask our parent volunteers to help make this event a success. Please take a look at the sign-up and see if there is a time slot that would work for you to come out on a beautiful day and help our kids enjoy Field Day! As always, Blair Oaks thanks you for your support!

Yearbooks are here!

If you purchased a 2021-2022 yearbook, they are being sent home today, Friday, April 29th. Please be on the lookout!

If you missed the deadline and would like to be placed on the list to reserve an extra, please use the form below. Extra yearbooks will be distributed on a first come, first served reservation basis. The cost is $16 and may be paid when yearbooks are picked up in the office.

Summer School meal prices are now available (below.) Payment may be turned in at any time to the elementary office.

Meal Prices:

Breakfast- $1.40 (reduced- $0.30)

Lunch- $2.00 (reduced- $0.40)

Please be sure to send payment in an envelope marked "Summer School Lunch Money" and your child's name.

We are currently looking to hire more paraprofessionals for summer school. Please contact Mrs. Bishop with any questions.

For a guaranteed spot, please complete the enrollment form by Monday, May 2. Any enrollments after May 2 could potentially be placed on a waiting list depending on enrollment numbers.

Monday-Thursday (No Fridays)
Session 1 (June 1 - June 15) and Session 2 (June 16 - June 30)

Driver's Education

Must be 15 years of age by June 15, 2022
Dates: June 1, 2, 6, 7, 8
Requirements of 30 hours of class work time and 18 driving hours (driving hours are scheduled separately from the dates listed above)
Fee: Blair Oaks Residents - $45
Fee: Non-Resident - $100
Cost of breakfast and lunch
District students receive priority enrollment thru April 18, 2022 - $45
Open enrollment, including out of district students, thru May 6, 2022 - $100
Processed on a first come, first served basis

High School Physical Education

Dates: June 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16
Students missing more than one day will not receive credit

Registration is open for Blair Oaks Summer Sports Camps. Registrations are accepted through May 20th in order to guarantee a camp t-shirt (if included). To register please follow the 2 steps below.

Enrollment ensures reservation and camp t-shirt (if provided).
Must enroll by May 20th to guarantee receiving a camp t-shirt.

Support our BMS & BHS Choir Program

Talent, Tunes & Treats

This year the Choir Boosters are hosting the MS and HS Talent Show in conjunction with a dessert theatre. It will be held at Capital City Productions (719 Wicker Lane, JC, MO) on May 1st, from 3:00-5:00 pm.

Your ticket will pay for several delicious desserts, drinks (tea, coffee, water, lemonade), and the show. The cost is $15 per ticket. This event is serving as a fundraiser for the choir to be able to purchase new choir robes for next year. If you are interested in coming out to support our talented students and our choir program and to enjoy a fantastic show of our student's talents, please consider purchasing a ticket. Seating is limited.
