Office 365: The hidden apps!
Did you know that Office 365 is much more that just Microsoft Office, One Drive and SWAY? There are many other useful application available for free just under the surface. To add apps to your main screen, all you have to do is go to your Office 365 account and click on Explore all apps. In this article, I'm going to recommend two of these apps- Planner and Tasks.
The great thing about the Planner app is that it is extremely collaborative. You can create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you're working on, and get progress updates from colleagues. It is very user friendly as well. Each plan has its own board where you can organize tasks into buckets. To update status, or change assignments, all you have to do is drag and drop. This app is perfect for classroom planning with students, and collaboration with co-workers. Planner works seamlessly across all devices so you never miss a beat!
The task app is useful to keep track of things that you need to do, but don't necessarily want to put on your calendar. You can use the task app to create and manage short/long term tasks that you need to get done. This app organizes your to do list in an easy to follow format that is customizable and expandable. The Task app works with Outlook, so you are reminded about your to do list status. Tasks also works across all devices so you can check your to do list on the go.
We encourage you to explore these and other apps in your Office 365 account. If you would like help using any of these apps, please contact an EMS Techspert today.
