Jarrell ISD is proud to partner with our Food Service Provider, SFE, to offer a FREE Farmers Market Monday, June 28, Tuesday, June 29, and Wednesday June 30 from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Igo Elementary Cafeteria (1601 County Road 314).

Staff will provide bags and allow Jarrell ISD families to select their own fresh fruits and vegetables.

Students do not have to be present for the Free Farmers Market.

The community is invited to attend the monthly Bond Update meetings at the Jarrell ISD Administration Office at 108 E. Avenue F. Meetings will begin at 5:30 p.m. before the regularly scheduled Jarrell ISD Board meetings.

Bond Program Management Files for public viewing

Jarrell ISD is looking for friendly, customer-service-focused individuals who enjoy working with young people to join the district’s Food Service Staff. Food Service workers will assist with the preparation of daily menus, prepare and set up cafeteria service lines, and serve student meals for breakfast and lunch. No experience necessary. Pay Rate $12.50 / hour. Food Handlers Card from Williamson Country are required. Lunch is provided daily for Food Service Department. Work schedule: Monday – Friday. Enrolled students (up to 21 years of age) in families that temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals for the 2020–2021 school year due to the COVID-19 pandemic may be eligible to receive Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT). P-EBT benefits can be used to buy food from any retailer that accepts the Lone Star Card.
