Thank you to all those parents and students that took the time to thank our team at Wolf Ridge during Staff Appreciation Week. We are fortunate to have such caring and devoted teachers.

We only have two more full weeks of school left. Please keep encouraging your child to do his/her very best to make the most of these last few weeks. In order to gear up for next school year, our preschool students will be taking a field trip to the kindergarten classrooms on Tuesday. Parents will be invited to a special zoom that same evening at 6:00 to meet with the teachers and learn all about kindergarten. We will also honor our 8th grade students at a promotion ceremony on Thursday, May 13th at 7:00 on the BHHS Football Field.

Students going into 6th-8th grade for the 2021-2022 school year are invited to tryout for Junior High Cheerleading next week. Practices will be held at 3:00pm at Wolf Ridge on May 10th, 11th, and 12th. These practices will be important to be prepared for the tryouts on May 13th at 3:00. Current Bunker Hill Preschool students will be taking a field trip to kindergarten during their normal class time on Tuesday, May 11th. Parents are invited to join the kindergarten teachers for a Zoom meeting at 6:00pm on this same day, also. You and your child will learn ALL ABOUT KINDERGARTEN at Wolf Ridge Education Center. SAVE THE DATE: August 9th, 2021= Kindergarten Orientation

Members of the junior high band will perform a concert on Tuesday, May 11th at 6:30pm. Band students should plan to arrive at 6:00. Students can invite up to 4 guests to this concert. Masks and social distancing will be required.

We are excited to announce that we will honor our 8th graders on May 13th at 7:00pm. If there is inclement weather, our rain date will be May 27th. Students will be allowed to invite up to 6 guests. All guests should plan to bring their own lawn chair as the ceremony will take place on the BHHS Football Field. Families will be social distanced and masks will be required.

This camp is for 4th-8th grade boys that have an interest in playing basketball. There is still time to register! Contact tshort@bhcusd.org with any questions or information about how to register.

Thank you to all those that registered for summer learning. We are beginning our plans to make this summer count for our students! It is going to be great.

Summer learning will begin on June 7th and end on July 1st. Students can arrive as early as 7:30, but learning will take place Monday-Thursday from 8:30-11:30. A free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all those that participate.

This concert will be held at BHHS at 6:30pm. Band members are allowed to invite up to 4 guests. Band members should plan on arriving at 6:00pm.

Students may invite up to 6 guests to this outdoor ceremony. Guests are asked to wear a mask and bring a lawn chair.

We will pass out awards for both academics and athletics on this day at 9:00am in the Wolf Ridge Gym. We are planning on making a special video and sending the link to all families to be able to enjoy and watch together in the evening. Students may invite one guests to the actual event, also.

PFK will be providing an extra special treat for students on this day.

Students that registered for summer learning will attend Monday-Thursday from 8:30-11:30. Students may be dropped off as early at 7:30 to accommodate working parents.
