YEARBOOK ORDER DEADLINE IS NEAR.....

As of today, Friday, there are only 5 more days to be able to order your child's Yearbook. The deadline is Wednesday, February 21st.

The Yearbooks can only be ordered ONLINE through the link provided below.

This years book is $14.25.

MORNING DROP OFF & PICK UP LINES ~

A couple reminders to parents ~

Keep in mind that our morning Drop Off doesn't start until 7:45. The Waller Staff is still arriving before that time, the kid's entrance doors will then open promptly at 7:45 as well!

We also ask that no children are dropped off prior to 7:45 to play on the playground. There is no supervision outside at that time, and we don't want anyone to get hurt! The magic daily arrival time is 7:45 to 8:00, and the bell rings at 8:05 for the kids to go to class! Thanks so much for your help!

Also, keep in mind that when dropping off, parents are Not to get out of the car - the kids should hop out, and the car line should keep moving! Recently we have been noticing some parked cars, and a backup in the line, that should be continuously moving along once the kids have exited safely.

One more item to mention ~ We know there are so many viruses going around this time of year ~ if your child is not feeling well, and won't be in attendance, you are welcome to call their illness/absence in any time day or night prior to the start of the school day. Feel free to leave a message on Mrs. Thomsen's voicemail during non-working school hours. Otherwise, please make that phone call to her before school starts on that particular day, it helps the Teachers and Health Office out immensely.

LIL' FISH READING LOGS

The Kingfish - Lil' Fish Reading Logs are due to school on Monday, February 19th!

Parents, if you could please total the reading minutes for each week, and put that total at the bottom of the Reading Log, it would be so helpful!

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES ~

This week the second round of the Parent Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday February 22nd from 3:30 to 6:30 for those that have appointments with their child's teachers. Conferences will be held in the classroom, unless specified otherwise. Thank You for attending ~ it means so much to the Teachers to be able to work with the Parents on all school related items.

GLOW DANCE

The Waller PTO Glow Dance will take place on Thursday night from 6:00 - 7:30! There will be Refreshments and Raffle Chances available for purchase! If you still need to register, please send your paper RSVP back to school! Get ready to dance the night away!!

FEBRUARY IS BLACK HISTORY MONTH!

As talked about in the classrooms, here is the information if you would like to participate in the Black History Month Art and Essay Contest! Entries are due by February 22nd. Information below ~

If you have a child that is 4 years old before September 1st, and you would like them to attend the 4 Year Old Kindergarten Program, it's time to start filling out Enrollment Forms for the 2024-2025 school year!

LOST & FOUND ~

Yes, this is what we have accumulated in our Lost & Found! And this doesn't include a picture of the dozen or more coats that don't seem to have an owner. If you feel like your child has lost something, please tell them to take a look! We have Hats, Gloves, Mittens (pairs and singles), Scarves, Sweatshirts, Coats, Boots, Water Bottles and Miscellaneous! We will leave this display set up for the week of February 19th, and then donate the leftover items to Love, Inc. Parents, feel free to stop in and take a look as well if you would like to.
