Check out the variety of arts education opportunities in your school! The arts are an essential part of a complete BCSD education. Students of all ages benefit from artistic learning, innovative thinking, and creativity.

Arts education, comprising a rich array of disciplines including dance, music, theatre, media arts, literature, design, and visual arts, is a core academic subject and an essential element of a complete and balanced education for all students.

National Arts in Education Week is a national celebration recognizing the transformative power of the arts in education. Designated by Congress in 2010.

Orders are due by Sept 10th. For the easiest experience, choose shipping unless you are at the high school. Mark your calendar for 6 pm on Thursday, Sept. 21. Due to the construction at Middle Park, the BHS Homecoming Parade will start from the Middle Rd entrance of Bettendorf Middle School (rather than Middle Park on 23rd St). Check out the map to make your plans!

• If your child will be four years old on or before September 15, we have openings for the 2023-2024 school year. Bettendorf offers preschool on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45 am - 2 pm. To apply, click HERE.

Safe+Sound Iowa is a free anonymous K-12 school safety reporting system to help prevent violence, unlawful possession of weapons, self-harm, and other forms of victimization and threatening behaviors in schools across Iowa. Students, school staff, parents, and concerned community members can report safety concerns three ways:
