Book of the week
In this week's book, Maddi's Fridge, Maddi and Sophia are close friends. Sofia finds out that Maddi's family is struggling to buy food. Maddi asks Sophia to please keep her secret. At first, Sophia does her best to keep the secret but in the end she knows Maddi needs an adult to help out. Sophia tells her mom the secret. Sofia and Maddi talk about why Sofia told her mom. Maddi is grateful for the help and they stay close friends.
Families
As the holidays quickly approach, it is important to us that all of the families within the Hatherly School community have what they need this season. The past couple of years have hit some families particularly hard economically. If your family is in need of some extra support this holiday season, we invite you to please reach out to Laura Dempsey, School Adjustment Counselor at Hatherly School. Ldempsey@scit.org or 781-545-8780 X 166. This communication will remain confidential.

The DeFranco's won a ride on a Scituate fire truck!
Parent/Teacher Conferences
This year you will have the option of a virtual conference or an in-person conference with your child's teacher. The sign up link is to provide a schedule for the teachers. Please email your child's teacher if you plan on doing a VIRTUAL conference. If you do not email your child's teacher they will assume your conference will be in person. Please remember all conferences are 10 minutes to allow for teachers to meet with multiple families.

Hatherly's Fun Run
Hatherly Families!
We have had a blast with this year's Booster Fun Run program! Your students learned about the power of CURIOSITY, PRACTICE, CONFIDENCE, HUMILITY, and ENDURANCE through the Sports City Worldwide videos, and today they will see if the team will figure out who stole their documentaries! You can check out all the videos on mybooster.com.
On Monday we will CELEBRATE our school with our Dance Fit Event! The entire school will be moving and grooving! It’s time to MOVE to HELP OUR SCHOOL! Please make sure students come to school on Monday with a water bottle and wearing sneakers.
We have raised $12,500 for our school to fund chromebooks, enrichment programs, and independent reading books! If you are able to share your pledge link, or give yourself, there is still plenty of time! Let’s finish strong!
Thank you for all of your support throughout our entire program!
PTO is excited to welcome back Rob Surette!
