We are adjusting the way that we do arrival and dismissal with buses. Please review the following notes that were discussed in your discipline section:

Arrival

Buses will arrive at the first (media center) doors. Students will be directed to breakfast carts then hallways. Once we start clubs, club students will veer off to other side of building.

Dismissal

Buses students will exit through the first door (media center) at the end of the 4th hallway.

For this process to run smoothly, the following needs to take place:

-All bus riders need to be walked down to the end of the hall and ready to walk out once car riders are dismissed.

-4th moves first, 5th moves second, 6th moves last.

Most of our HR staff will be supervising clubs. 6th (Tuesday), 5th (Wednesday), 4th (Thursday)

Club Start Date is TBA

EC, Enhancements and Admin will provide arrival and dismissal coverage until clubs begin.

#1 Blue copies will go home in your open house packets. These must be signed and returned. Please collect what you can but hold on to them at first. Put in my mailbox on Wednesday paperclipped together with your name on a sticky on top. After that you can give me as they trickle in, but be sure to note your name at the top so that I get them sorted into the right pile.

#2 Yellow copy in your mailbox. There is a “teacher responsibilities” section. Please read and sign at the top indicating you’ve read them. This can go in my mailbox immediately OR go on top of your kid stack - your choice.

To schedule your class for open book checkout:

You can sign up to bring your students to the media center as much or as little as you want. You can bring them by homeroom or decide that the ELA teacher will bring both classes. We just want your classes to come!

To sign up for your open book checkout time:

• Click HERE to view the Media Center Calendar. Scroll down to the 2nd calendar- Classroom open book checkout
  
• Under the Calendar you will see a blue + sign and the words Google Calendar- Please click on that
• Double click on the day/time that you would like to bring your students
• Enter your Last name and make sure that the time is right- Open book checkout usually lasts 15-20 minutes
• Please make sure that you click on the repeat button if you want to repeat weekly/biweekly
• Under the calendar drop down- please make sure that you click on Classroom Open Book Checkout
• Then click on the red Save button when you are finished
