Chromebook Pick Up!

Required Forms for Chromebook Pickup

In order for your student to pick up their Chromebook, families and students will need to complete and sign the attached medical, computer use, and federal forms. Forms should be downloaded, printed, and completed prior to arriving at school for Chromebook pick up. Families will also need to complete the Required Federal and State Data Collection Survey prior to Chromebook pick up.


If you are unable to print the forms or access the survey, there are several means of access NEAAAT is providing. The forms will be placed in boxes in front of the main entrance of the school, and computers with the survey will be available in the school lobby, Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Fridays from 8:00 am to 12:00 beginning Monday, July 17, 2023.


Students with any outstanding fees for prior damage or loss of their charger will not be

assigned a Chromebook until all fees have been paid in full.

Dear NEAAAT Family,


I hope you have had an amazing summer! As the school year approaches, I would love to see our coaches regularly celebrated. They work tremendously hard and do so much for our students. The first week of school is often grueling. Let's treat the staff to some snacks and support their end of the first week staff ice cream sundae party.


Below are two sign ups. One for snacks and drinks and one for the sundae party. Both are important but the sundae party needs are the higher priority.


If I can assist in any way in collecting these items, please let me know. My husband and I will be at both open houses if you would like to drop the items off then.


Also if you are interested in trying to assemble a team of families who can do this more frequently than for appreciation in May and the beginning of the year, reach out to me at ellensilvaslp@gmail.com or 252-339-1814 and maybe we can present something to the administration.

NEAAAT is utilizing a new online system to confirm your students attendance for the 2023-2024 school year and to update parent contact information, emergency contact, and proof of residency information. This process is to confirm your student’s information or provide the school with updated information. YOUR STUDENT DOES NOT NEED TO REENTER THE LOTTERY. Please confirm your student’s re-registration for the 2023-2024 school year by following the steps below.


  1. Create a Schoolmint account by visiting the Joinneaaat.Schoolmint website.

  2. Add your student to your account.

    1. Indicate your student currently attends NEAAAT and you have their student ID. DO NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR LOTTERY.

    2. Enter your student’s ID number, student name, and date of birth.

      1. Your student’s ID is the number your student uses to access NC EDCLOUD and can be found on their report card.

      2. Contact Dana Hanig at danahanig@northeastacademy.org if you need your student’s ID number.

  3. Confirm your student’s information.

  4. Confirm your student will be attending for the 2023-2024 school year.

    1. If you select no, you will need to contact the school to submit a withdrawal form.

  5. Confirm or update the requested information.

    1. Demographic information

    2. Proof of Residency

    3. Emergency Contact/ approved adults who can pick up

  6. Review and submit.

The work-based experiences made possible through our Business Alliance Partnerships are already helping us to achieve our vision of being a model for teaching and learning and a leader in the movement to ensure that all children have equitable access to a high quality education.


We’re currently seeking opportunities to build stronger connections with our Business Alliance partners. We’re pleased to announce that we will be growing our internship program this year, and we’re currently looking for employers who are willing to welcome 1 or more students to complete 80 hours or more of on-site work. Other opportunities will include guest speaking in our classrooms, judging projects, providing student feedback on public speaking events, and partnering with our coaches to create lessons that allow our students to explore what we call “the real world of work”.
