Mr. McKibben’s World History class is learning about the roaring 20’s! Students gathered notes on this time period to help with a later writing assignment to show what they have learned.
Students in Mr.Herron’s second period Financial Management class were learning about a pay stub. They watched an EdPuzzle that showed them how to read a pay stub. Students also looked over the terms of a pay stub to get a better understanding of what certain things meant. Students did a great job participating as they prepare for their future.
We had a full house to celebrate Veteran's Day today! We are very grateful for all of those who served, as well as their families, who have sacrificed so much for us. If you were unable to watch the ceremony, you can view it at any time on our Youtube Channel.
The Williamsburg Post of the American Legion was in attendance to raise the flags for the National Anthem this morning. The Anthem was performed by the Williamsburg Middle/High School Choir, under the direction of Mr. Kevin Lockwood.
Chief Warrant Officer 2 Greg Price was our guest speaker this morning. He shared many impactful thoughts, and Mr. Dunn encouraged all of our students to go back (to the link of the livestream) and listen to his words again. Mr. Price encouraged us all to be 1% better every day to leave this country and this world a better place than we found it.
