Principal's Message
Dear Yowell Families,
Today has been a very wet day. I sure do wish it was snow falling like it is in Buffalo, New York! The wonder of snow is so exciting for the young and old.
This week we are in full swing with our before and after-school clubs. Thank you to all our teachers that sponsor clubs for our students.
After the call last week, we had a lot of our Out of Zone families fill out the OOZ form. If you haven't done that yet, please do so.

DISTRICT SPELLING BEE
Please check out the PDF below to read about the CCPS district wide spelling bee! Yowell had THREE students who made it to this round of the competition, 5th graders Elliott Carroll, Reid Green and Kenji Lam. All boys did incredible and Reid ended the contest in third place! Way to go, gentlemen!

making process for closing schools for inclement weather is complex with the safety of our students
and staff as our top priority. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about weather closings/delays...
Transportation: Morning update document
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
