- PSAT Score Results:
Students will receive an email notification from the Collegeboard when their scores are available to view online. This email will also include information on creating a Collegeboard account. Students must register for an account on Collegeboard.org to access their digital score report. This Collegeboard account will be used throughout high school to access and report future PSAT, SAT and AP scores as well. High school officials do not have access to a student’s username and password for Collegeboard.org so please keep this info for future reference.
How to create a collegeboard account:
Go to Collegeboard.org
Click on “Sign up”
Click on “I am a student”
Provide demographic information and create a username and password
The following video provides insights to help students and parents understand the score report:
Students can begin preparing for the SAT exam by linking their Collegeboard account to Khan Academy’s free SAT prep at SatPractice.org. This will import a student’s PSAT scores into Khan Academy, which provides a free personalized SAT study plan to focus on areas in need of improvement. Students typically take the SAT for the first time in the spring of their junior year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to a school counselor for more information.
- The guidance department will be hosting a virtual College Night for parents on February 15th. This is a good opportunity for parents to learn more about the college application process and to speak with representatives from Eastern, UCONN, Mitchell College, Three Rivers Community College and Middlesex Community College. While this event is geared towards the parents of juniors, all are welcome to attend. More information, including the zoom link will be available in the coming weeks. Please reach out to your student's counselor with any questions.
- Seniors should continue to meet with their counselor to complete college admissions applications throughout the winter.
- Juniors will be discussing the college admissions process with counselors in their English classes in February.
