Message from the Principal
Fun Fact! This weekend is the Snow Moon, which is the last full moon of winter. The Snow Moon is the furthest away from the Earth, but is still a beautiful sight! Check it out this weekend!

Student Apprenticeship Opportunity
Affton, Pattonville, Rockwood and the Special School District are proud to host the 3rd annual St. Louis County Apprenticeship and Career Pathways Showcase.
Families and students in grades 6 through 12, as well as recent graduates, are invited to these FREE events to experience a variety of careers through interactive exhibits and discussions with industry professionals.
The showcases will connect attendees to exciting and fulfilling job opportunities, many requiring training instead of a traditional, four-year degree. Regional employers seeking young talent will be ready to share information and guidance about career pathways, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, construction, information technology, and public safety. Some industries will offer hands-on activities and opportunities to work with equipment to ensure students enjoy an immersive experience.
Events are planned for the following dates and locations:
- Saturday, Feb. 24, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Eureka High School
- Saturday, March 2, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., North Tech High School
- Saturday, March 9, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., South Tech High School

Phone and Headphone/Earbud Reminder
We have been seeing an increase of cell phones and earbud use during the school day. Our cell phone policy states that phones are to be turned off and put away during the school day. If phones are not being used, there is no need to have headphones or earbuds in. If these items are out, they will be sent to the office where they can be picked up by the student at the end of the day. If they are taken a second time, they will need to be picked up from the office by a parent or guardian.
Library Media Center Information
Our school library media center is a wonderful resource for our students! Check out the activities Mrs. Louder offers and encourage your child to participate!
