IB Informational Meeting
DVMArts Field Trip
Our DVMArt 2 and 3 animation students took a trip to Mt. San Antonio College to attend the Animation and Game Festival. The event gave our students an insight into the Animation, Game art, and VR department. Each department showcased samples from different departments showcasing animation film production, working playable games, and virtual reality projects.
The group also spoke with faculty, networked with students, and participated in Q&A sessions with interactive media professors. Our students toured the classrooms and got an inside look at the inner workings of each department. We also participated in a CPR training demo the school was hosting, and some of our kids got first-hand training from EMTs.
At the end of our stay at Mt. Sac, we took a self-guided tour of the school and had a blast experiencing the school culture and seeing the landmarks and departments.
Winter Festival 2022
On December 7, Alvarado Intermediate and Rowland High School presented their Winter Festival. The concert featured The Rowland Jazz Ensemble, Alvarado Concert Band, Rowland Symphonic Band, Rowland Unified High School Honor Orchestra, Alvarado Orchestra, and the Rowland Orchestra.
