Dear Jefferson Families,

THANK YOU FOR A GREAT START! Our school continues to sell and we hope that you are helping us raise necessary funds for our kid's field trips, exciting activities, awards and rewards!

As you know our goal is to raise $20,000 for our school's activities for our kids and staff.

The bus and entrance fees have increased. We really need everyone's help and support so that we can provide at least one field trip for every student and provide each student with a $12 entrance fee. Additionally, we also provide a great deal of rewards and motivation to our students and staff throughout the year.

If each student sells at least ~$50 OR 3 to 5 ITEMS~ we will more than meet our goal.

Exciting News!! This year parents can make purchases online instead of making purchases through cash. Online Purchases: The items will be delivered to the school on Wednesday, Nov 15th.

Please attend a Free Training on using Jefferson School Apps at Home and we will let each family borrow a FREE iPad for the school year.

If you plan on Borrowing an iPad, you must have the following:

1. Wifi or Internet at home

2. Sign a Contract that the family is responsible for the return of the iPad to school in December 13, 2023.

3. Ensure that your child uses the iPad daily to support academic goals and not for personal use.

Borrowed iPads Are Limited to Jefferson Families Only- Parents need to sign up using the link below. If you can't sign up using the link below, please come or call the office. Once the spaces are filled, we will not have more iPads to send home. Again, we have limited iPads to send home.

**If a family already has technology at home, you can still attend the training; you will NOT need to sign up. All Training is Free!

*** 5th Grade ipads will be sent home by the 5th grade teacher. There are only 2 ipads per teacher. Please note that they will choose kids based on academic level.

We will be celebrating Halloween on TUESDAY 10/31. If your child is going to dress up in a costume, please make sure it's appropriate for an elementary school.

1. No scary costumes

2. No blood or guts

3. No toy weapons or any kind

4. Nothing that is too short or revealing

5. If child's costume is lost or damaged, the school will not be responsible. Please don't send students to school with expensive costumes.

Any students who are wearing scary, bloody or weapons costumes will be sent to the office and we will ask parents to bring a change of clothes.

PLEASE DONATE A BAG OF CANDY FOR OUR KIDS!

We are in need of candy for our kids for the Halloween Carnival.

We pass out candy as prizes for the booths and everyone who comes to the Costume Parade at Recess. If you would like to donate a bag of candy from Costco, Sam's Club or any other size of candy, we would really appreciate it! Please bring it to the office with your child's name.
