Today’s Scripture
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

Today's Guide
When preparing for today, think about the following: Remember God Loves You, and Only He knows the Real You and Loves You.
Food For Thought
If someone asks you why you believe what you do - do you shy away or stand boldly in your faith?
We all have a reason for our faith and the hope that is in us, but sometimes it can be hard to explain without feeling ashamed, judged, or cast away from those we love - especially when we have walked a hard road, and it may seem too hard to believe.
Today, be proud of your journey - you have an amazing story that is only yours, and it may change someone else's life, be just the encouragement they need, the sign they've been searching for, the touch of hope they were asking to find.
Remember, God loves you, and only He knows the real you - He looks past who we think we are and sees our potential, so come as you are. Nothing compares to the love in His heart for you, no matter what path you have taken.
Be prepared, be bold, and share your faith with vulnerability, gentleness, and respect - it may just bring someone else's hope back to life.
Gratitude
Have you had someone else's story bring hope back into your life? Has their bold faith on the hard road made you feel like you weren’t alone or misunderstood? How can you find gratitude in these experiences today?
Today's Prayer
Lord, Please give me the right words for those I would tell about Your unfailing love and care for those who follow You. Each person hears in their way, so help me to speak to their heart, not their head. You know what each person needs. Amen
