Some thoughts for the starting school year

First Day of School - August 18, 2022
Dear Bethel-Tate Parents/Guardians:
We are looking forward to welcoming back our staff and students for the 2022-2023 school year on Thursday, August 18, 2022. We have staggered start dates for different grade levels. Principals will be communicating these details with our parents soon.
Our administrative team has been busy this summer hiring staff and planning for the new school year. Special thanks to our custodial and maintenance crew for working hard to get our buildings ready!
Details on open houses and other important back-to-school information communicated through our building principals.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Melissa Kircher
Superintendent
Complete Final Forms Before School Starts!
Bethel-Tate uses FinalForms, an online forms and data management service, to simplify the back-to-school process for our families while reducing our paper usage. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign enrollment, back-to-school, and athletic/club participation forms for your students.
FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! Final Forms also pre-populates information wherever possible for each of your students, saving you time.
Parents/guardians of every student enrolled at Bethel-Tate Local Schools must complete FinalForms online registration as soon as possible. The login page can be found on our website or by clicking https://betheltate-oh.finalforms.com/.
Make sure to complete your 2022-2023 forms online before the first day of school. The email and contact information you submit is important to ensure you receive important communications and announcements from the district and your child's school.

USDA Free Meals Waiver Expires, Apply for Free/Reduced Status
The USDA’s free meals waiver for public school food service programs, which provided free daily breakfast and lunch to all students (regardless of financial qualification) for the last two years, expired on June 30, 2022.
As a result, families who may qualify for free and reduced meals based on income or other qualifying factors will need to complete the 2022-2023 Free and Reduced Meal Application.
Regardless of previous qualification, the meal benefits application much be completed on an annual basis. Only students who qualified for free/reduced meal benefits prior to the USDA waiver will continue receiving benefits through Sept. 15, 2022, after which a new application will need to be on file to continue receiving free/reduced meal prices.
Please return the completed application to any of the school offices.
Any questions, contact Darlene Parks at 513-352-7190 or email at darlene.parks@betheltate.org.
