Congrats to our State Science Fair Participants!
On Friday, March 23rd, six Cowles Montessori students attended the State Science Fair at Hilton Coliseum on the campus of Iowa State University. 7th graders Zadie Hoff and Julia Moody; and 6th graders Levi Kimsey, Emma Krambeck, Bela Perkins, and Shreeya Yarlagadda were selected at the DMPS district Science Fair to represent Cowles at the State level. The students all enjoyed their day and were excellent ambassadors for our school. We will be presenting the content and reflections to the entire faculty and staff during our upcoming professional development days.

An informational meeting will be held for interested students on Monday, April 1, right after school in room 105. At this meeting, student organizers will discuss the purpose of the group and outline future meeting dates and activities. Faculty sponsors of this group are Mrs. Lepeltak, Mr. Moody, and Ms. Myers.
