E.O. Green parents, guardians, and community members,

We appreciate your understanding and patience with the construction and traffic congestion due to city repairs taking place around the school streets.

You received your child’s grade report cards last week. It is important to be present for in-person instruction as well as to complete all assignments and projects during remote learning time. All Hornets are expected to perform their very best academically and have good attendance. If your student is struggling to study, support your student's success with the following recommendations:

Please remember to set (and keep) a daily distance learning at home schedule. The closer this is to a 'school schedule,' the easier it will likely be on everyone. The daily schedule needs to fit your circumstance at home (sleeping schedules, meal schedules, etc.). Once you've created a productive schedule, stick to it.

Thank you for talking to your students about the importance of following all safety protocols including wearing a mask to cover both nose and mouth while at school, keeping distance from peers, and thoroughly washing hands often or using hand sanitizer.

Teacher and classified appreciation week is May 17-21. Parents and students, please send videos to my mmyers@hueneme.org that are 10-15 seconds long.

The Hueneme School District has partnered with the VCPH to bring a COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Clinic to our community. The mobile clinic will be set up at Parkview Elementary on Friday, April 30, then again at E.O. Green JHS on Friday, May 14. Please visit the link below for more information.

Are you interested in joining TRIO? TRIO is a program offered at EO Green to help support students through their education. Students will receive important information about high school and college with consistent guidance over the years. If you are interested in TRIO, please fill out the form as soon as possible. Students already enrolled in TRIO don't need to fill out an application.
