BOBCAT NATION,
We wanted to share some good news with everyone! On Monday, April 4th, we officially hit 100% completion on FAFSA/TASFA and all of our seniors have applied to at least one college or university. We are really proud of the class of 2022 and all of their hard work.
Aside from that, we now have $1,306,486 on academic scholarships! These next two months we will be hearing back from several national scholarships and local scholarships with the hopes of reaching 1.5 million.
Last but not least, our senior class has over 550 applications completed with 411 being to a four-year university. We have 87 students who are on track to matriculate this upcoming Fall. The rest of our students are considering the workforce right after high school and two of them are proudly joining the military. We will continue to support them as they decide what they would like to do. Overall, we are really excited for reaching these goals and hope to continue our work as Summer Melt approaches. We would like to thank all of our teachers, counselors, and especially, Ms. Cecilia Flores for helping us reach these goals.
