I LOVE this website and app! It is an amazingly simply graphic design app that allows you to mash an image with text. If you use the web version, it is very similar to Publisher. A special thanks to Jana Parker for sharing this one.

Todoist

In a principal group I belong to, this week's topic was email productivity. Email should not be your to do list. In order to take control over my email, I have using Todoist. This app and Chrome extension help you to keep an organized To Do List. You can even import emails as your TO DO's. Here is to clearing the email clutter!

IFTTT App

If This Then That-This website is AMAZING! You can set up applets that will automate certain tasks. We have recently set up an Instagram account....IFTTT will automatically post any pics we post to instagram over to Facebook and Twitter. I also set it up that any email I star in Gmail, it will create a to do on my Todoist app. Finally, I set it up so that I will get a text message if I get an email from certain people.

WE Stories Event

We Stories and the Cognition & Development Lab @ Washington University invite you to join us to an evening of communication and conversation with Developmental Psychologist and Researcher Dr. Brigitte Vittrup. Dr. Vittrup's work on white parents talking to children about race was featured in the best-selling book Nurture Shock and more recently on the well-known podcasts The Longest Shortest Time. Her research at Texas Women's University focuses on children's racial attitudes, parents’ racial socialization practices, and media influences on children.
