Animal Architects
As engineers and scientists, some of our greatest inspiration comes from the world outside of our window. Starting in January, kindergarten students will learn about animal builders and then see if they can mimic these amazing animal creations. Use the pictures and the clues below to guess what animals we are going to be learning about!
Animal #1
This animal has a long flat tail and big webbed feet. It builds it's home out of sticks and loves to eat bark and leaves.
Animal #2
This eight-legged animal makes silk in it's body that is can use to make a trap for it's food.
Animal #3
This animal uses lots of different types of materials to build a cradle for it's eggs.
