Dear Cavaliers,

Welcome back! I hope that you all had a great Fall Break and are rested and re-energized to start our second quarter of the school year. Second quarter is very critical as it is the last push before the end of the Fall Semester. Semester grades are critical because these are the grades used to meet the criteria for middle school promotion.

Thank you to our faculty and staff who have attended two days of content specific professional development this past Monday and Tuesday. We are committed to providing opportunities for each of our students to succeed. One of those opportunities will be this Friday as our Math department will conduct the second Rise-Up Friday opportunity for our students. Students that are invited to participate will be invited by their teachers an notified via our Infinite Campus messenger system. If invited, please make sure to attend, as this is an opportunity to work with our math teachers to improve their grades.

Let's work together to make this second quarter a success!!

A huge thank you to our ASB and Ms. Price for helping plan our Global Change Awareness activities the week before Fall Break. The activities helped to bring much needed awareness to the global issue.

Congratulations to the Faculty/Staff for their victory over the students in our Staff vs Students basketball game. The students put up a tough fight but in the end, fell a bit short!

Cooperation!

This Friday 10/11/19 our Math Department will have their second Rise-Up Friday. This is an opportunity for students to improve their grade by staying after school on Friday to work with our teachers to attain mastery of specific core standards.

Please make sure you take this opportunity to show mastery and improve your grade!

Team 3 please be at your supervision posts this week during nutrition break. Please note the new RED line in the quad north of the 300 building. In order to provide more space for students to enjoy their nutrition break, we have expanded the area where they are allowed to be to the RED line. This will be only during Nutrition Break and Single Lunch on Friday's.
